About Rob

General Bio

Hi — I’m Robert (Rob) Graham. I’m an Aussie who lives with a few medical challenges, but I’m still the kind of person who’ll stay up too late chasing clear skies, tinkering with sim gear, or writing code until it finally behaves.

I’m into astrophotography, plus wildlife and aviation photography (especially birds and aircraft), and I spend a lot of time around flight simulation and programming.

Some work you may have seen over the years

  • Part of the Star Trek PBEM scene (late 90s → mid 00s), including co‑founding Obsidian Fleet.
  • The TacPack update for the IRIS A‑10.
  • Flight model and systems modelling for the 2014 IRIS PC‑9.
  • OZRunways — FSX / P3D / MSFS Connector.
  • Small sections contributed to BUNine on David Weber’s Honorverse Compendium.
  • Various RAAF airbases for FSX and P3D.
  • RAAF Virtual’s S.C.I application.
  • Task Group Warrior.

Astrophotography

I’m into widefield skies, deep-sky targets, and getting the processing “just right”. The gallery page contains placeholders for now — swap them with your real captures whenever you’re ready.
